Low flow valves from Schubert & Salzer regulate minimal CVmax values of 0.0031 with maximum rangeability to 40:1 and high pressures of up to 320 bar. In addition to the pneumatic low flow valve type 7042 with integrated positioner, there is now a manually actuated low flow valve type 7045 as well as two variants with electric actuator – types 7242 and 7342.

The compact control head type 2041 is an intelligent position indicator for linear valves with an integrated pilot valve and was specially developed for industrial applications with high requirements for process reliability and operating convenience. It offers a reliable feedback of the valve position, both visually by means of coloured high-visibility LEDs and electrically in real-time via digital output signals.

The automatic initialisation can be performed directly on the spot or via IO-Link. This allows fast, user-friendly end position adjustment and considerably reduces commissioning work.

Due to its maintenance-free position determination, the control head is particularly suitable for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, water and wastewater industries. It operates reliably within a temperature range from –4 °F to +140 °F. The body design with IP65 or IP67 protection according to EN 60529 enables safe operation, even in humid, dirty or other harsh environments.

The optionally integrated, digital positioner type 8049 is particularly easy to maintain thanks to its top-mounted installation. It is available with IO-Link and in an ATEX or FM version.

The new hygienic right angle valves from the 6053 series impress with nominal sizes from 2 1/2“ up to 6“ and above-average Cvs values. They meet high cleanliness requirements and are characterised by outstanding cleanability and ease of maintenance.

All media-wetted metallic parts of the hygienic right angle valves are manufactured from stainless steel 316L barstock material and have a roughness Ra of less than 0.8 µm. A special spindle seal for hygienic applications minimises gaps in the feed-through of the valve spindle even under dynamic loads. All media-wetted plastic parts are FDA-compliant and conform to Directive (EC) 1935/2004 as well as (EU) 10/2011. Vertically installed valves are self-emptying in the open position.

The wide range of applications includes beverage and food production, the manufacture of cosmetics and the control of ultra-high-purity water in semiconductor manufacturing. Milk processing companies in particular benefit from the optional 3A conformity.

The low-flow valve type 7042, now in a version with socket-weld connection, is particularly easy to weld in. It offers a compact, reliable and leakage-free connection solution, even for high-pressure applications.

With minimal Cvs values of 0.0031 to 1.5 and a nominal pressure of PN320, the low-flow valve type 7042 is ideally suited for the precise control of minimal flow rates. It can be used as a safe stop valve, especially for high pressures. The optionally integrated, digital positioner type 8049 is particularly easy to maintain thanks to its top-mounted installation. It is available with IO-Link and in an ATEX or FM version.
